More young apprentices

The NAC Group is recruiting a further 40 Green Collar Apprentices during January/February 2011, to add to its current pool of 90. The apprentices are recruited from the ranks of the long-term unemployed, are aged 19 to 24 and generally live in the Tyne & Wear and County Durham areas.

The specially designed Green Collar Apprenticeships take the young people through an intensive 18-month programme of theoretical and practical skills, combined with simulated work experience, equipping them for jobs in industries such as electric vehicle and battery manufacture.
