Following the tremendous success of its latest lean programmes, the NAC Group is in the process of widening its engagement with NHS Trusts in the London area.
NHS Trusts already benefiting from these initiatives include the Whittington, Guy’s and St Thomas', Imperial College and Wandsworth. Discussions and planning are underway with the Royal Free and East and North Herts hospitals. If successful, these will lead to a variety of lean initiatives based around the NAC Group's portfolio of 'lean and green' qualifications and training packages.
In particular, the Business Improvement Techniques (BIT) programme that is delivered by NAC Group is designed to instil a culture of lean thinking across all levels of an organisation. It can subsequently be utilised to address strategic organisational transformation objectives.
In the current climate of 'more for less', and the need for substantial improvement in productivity and efficiency within the public sector, the NAC Group's programmes continue to be a great investment. They will deliver a real impact in terms of improved quality, reduced cost of service provision and removal of all forms of process waste.
