Best Practice Award - Cottam Brush

The ‘Best Practice' award for March goes to Cottam Brush, for their excellent monthly staff feedback sessions.
Every month staff members are brought together for a briefing. This consultation covers sales, operational performance and health and safety. In February, this was extended t included issues surrounding the current recession and an overview of the current market influences. As part of an incentive to encourage staff participation in improving the business performance, following February's session one member of staff was even awarded £250 for their suggestion.
Manufacturing Director Alan Crook said,
"Here at Cottam Brush we value our staff highly and we are interested in their thoughts and opinions. By sharing as much information as possible we ensure that our staff are fully briefed on the tasks ahead and well motivated to meet the challenges."
