Launch of the new waste2use campaign

NAC is now pioneering a scheme where clients can network with other industrial clients to donate or swap products which would ordinarily be disposed of.

We recognise the need to minimise waste by assisting companies with process support and efficiency in operations to reduce overall manufacturing output with the same, if not fewer resources. In addition, we are now pioneering a scheme where clients can network with other industrial clients to donate or swap products which would ordinarily be disposed of

Peter Shields from One NE (Service Sector Team, Knowledge Intensive Business Services) launched the scheme at John Watson Joinery, where 3 disused stillages from Tanfield's Upright Platforms were passed onto the joinery shop

 Eddie Watson, Operations Manager, said:

‘This is an excellent initiative,  we have been able to implement line side improvements with something Upright were ready to dispose of, and now both companies have very benefited. In the long run, more re-cycling is better for the environment and for business'

Any clients, partners or companies wishing to join the scheme should contact Rita.Potts@na-consultants,co.uk, and support the NAC effort to reduce land fill, by linking companies who can re-use waste, obsolete material, old stock or products such as old packaging
